# Self-Hosted Clusters

For installing Gradient in the public cloud, on-prem, etc.

With the Gradient Installer, you create and manage Gradient private clusters on AWS, GCP, Azure, NVIDIA DGX, and bare metal. The [Gradient Installer CLI](/gradient/gradient-private-cloud/about/setup/self-hosted-clusters/gradient-installer-cli.md) is an open source tool used to set up, update, and delete your cluster(s).

**Note:** Self-Hosted Clusters require an Essentials or Growth [subscription](https://gradient.paperspace.com/pricing).

See the following guides for pre-installation steps and cluster setup.
